Alleyn’s School has celebrated an exceptional summer of public exam results. At A Level, Alleyn’s recorded its best ever outcomes, with 41% of exams graded A*, 81% at A*/A, and 94% at A*– B. The school also achieved a record number of Oxbridge places (21 students) and reported the strongest-ever subject results across Biology, Drama, Film Studies, German, Music, PE and Philosophy.
These results place Alleyn’s firmly among the UK’s top performers. In one national table, Alleyn’s was ranked 9th in the country for A level (A*/A), underscoring the school’s national standing.
At GCSE, Alleyn’s pupils delivered record-breaking performances with 95% of all exams graded 9–7 and 58% at grade 9, including standout strengths in core and modern language subjects. 30% of the cohort achieved nine or more grade 9s.
This builds on the prior year’s momentum: in 2024, 46% of GCSE grades were 9 and 72% were 8–9, with eight pupils receiving national recognition in Art from the exam board, mirroring top national performance in A Level Art the week before.
“Our students’ achievements reflect their hard work, curiosity and camaraderie and the breadth of opportunity at Alleyn’s,” said Head Jane Lunnon, noting parity of achievement across arts, STEM, languages and humanities as the school marked 50 years of co-education.
As the flagship of the Alleyn’s Schools Group, Alleyn’s is helping build a culture of shared learning and community impact, grounded in high standards and broad opportunity.
